5 simple steps to booking our storage units

  1. Get in contact with our customer service and request for a storage unit. A collection date will be organized once all the details are discussed. We will not require a survey to be carried out unless there is a need for a large volume storage unit.

  2. The exact volume will be confirmed once all your belongings have been loaded.

  3. Our team will keep a record of the condition and note it down in the inventory sheet for the client’s reassurance.

  4. The team will unload and arrange everything into your storage unit.

  5. On the other hand, if you prefer, you can deliver your belonging directly to the storage facility where you will meet us to fill all the paperwork.

Storage Advises and Tips

​Consider investing on packing materials.

It is important that all your belongings are neatly packed before they are placed in the storage unit. The boxes need to be properly sealed to avoid any moisture entering inside and damaging your goods. What is more ideal, is to use plastic crates over the cardboard boxes since they are sturdier and more last longer. With regards to the packing materials, we can deliver to your door any materials require, although we have a team which can package everything for you.

Do not store any food products

The storage unit is not the best choice if you require putting any extra food somewhere for safekeeping. Any kinds of food products, plants or any living creatures are to be avoided from storage units. This is because no one know exactly how long you will be storing them, and the food can good bad, the plants can die as well as any animals.

Clean the appliances before storing them

When storing appliances, it is vital that you prepare them properly beforehand to avoid any damage to it and a disturbance at the storing facility. When moving home, often you end up moving and storing appliances such as washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker and the dishwasher. Prior to storing the washing machine, it is a good idea to run a final wash cycle when it is empty. This will clean out the hoses and stop a potential for mould growth or smells to be developed. Also make sure you drain all the residual water from the hoses or inside the machine, give a thorough clean before storage. Similarly, fridge and freezers need to be defrosted and thoroughly cleaned from inside out. Any food remainders will cause mould to grow and create bad smell. Give it at least 3 hours to reconnect the fridge once it has been disconnected for relocation.

Am I able to access my things whilst they are stored at your storage facility?

Yes, however it is important to note that we are not self-storage facility therefore appointments are needed to access your belongings. We need at least 48 hours’ notice and sometimes additional charges apply if the client requires the staff’s assistance in the warehouse.

Am I able to add another Item to my storage after my initial visit?

Yes, you can add additional items to your storage. However just to remind you, the storage is charged per volume, meaning that any extra volume will be quoted in advance accordingly. You can discuss this with your moving coordinator in detail and they will arrange everything for you.

How do I pay for the service upfront, and do you require a deposit?

We usually take a deposit before booking a service for our clients and this is the same with all the other reputable companies.
